hi all..i got one of these puppies coz of region free etc,and im quite happy with it,except for one thing,and that is,after playing a dvd(or cd) or i leave the unit on for a couple of days it gets quite warm(the dvd or cd) is this normal?its not burn your fingers off hot,just really warm..can this damage my dvds or cd's? any info much appreciated....

Most manufacturers recommend that you turn dvd players (and other electrical appliances) off when unused for extended periods.:rolleyes: Despite this, it should never be especially warm. Ensure that the ventilation slots in the cabinet are uncovered. If it concerns you greatly, why not give Palsonic a buzz: 1300 657 888.

thanks for that:)..i also meant that the actual discs were pretty warm after being played..can that harm them?

With some DVD players I have noted that the discs get slightly warm after use, but hardly anything to be concerned about. You should probably ask Palsonic about it. It does sound odd.
