Hi Guys,
I am after a prepaid plan with the cheapest SMS.
I have a business mobile which I use for everything but I need to make
a lot of personal international SMSes.
So I got a prepaid Optus sim recently in but sms are around 35c plus i
think in the other optus prepaid plans like turbocharge u cant use the
extra credits towards international sms.
Any ideas on which carrier/plan to try?
thanks

Where to ?
3 and Virgin has the cheapest SMS rate around but whether it reached your
destination in time or not, that's another question :)
I found Vodafone is very reliable @ 25c / sms iirc.

The 4 free daily credits are for national SMS only, but your $120/$250
credit should be fine to use for international SMS.
Don't forget, even though international SMS costs 35c, the value of
your recharge is actually up to 4 or 5 times the face value. That is,
if you account for the inflated value of a 'turbo' recharge, your
international SMS should only cost you 8.75c ($30/$120 recharge) or 7c
($50/$250 recharge).

For international, Revtel charge 20c per SMS, and even with their 15c
per day 'access fee' you'll probably still come out ahead...

Erm, 'international' destinations like the subject indicates!

Virgin charge 20c, and Orange 22c with pre-paid.
Revtel is also an option at 20c but Virgin as just as cheap without
Revtel's daily 'access fee' charges.
