Anyone here use the software tools that come with the Motorola V3 RAZR?

What do you think of them?

I think the software is next to useless. It is as buggy as it gets and it
reminds me of the old Motorola TrueSync software that came with my L series
+ phone years ago. In other words not worth a luke warm squirt of pelican
poop.

Some of the things that I've found to be annoying are :-

1) Software takes far too long to start communications with the phone.
(typically more than 2 minutes. ZZZ)
2) The file transfer facility in MultiMedia Studio quite often crashes part
of the way through transferring a number of files either from the PC to the
phone or vice versa.
3) Sometimes trying to change directories (folders) on the phone using the
software tools just results in the hourglass symbol staying on the PC window
until the software finally gives up and the program crashes.

I have downloaded and installed the latest updates for the program and I've
even tried running it on two different PCs and it still seems to have the
same problems :(

Connecting to PC via USB
Both PCs running XP Pro SP2
Phone firmware version - R374_G_0E.40.9CR
Mobile phone Tools software version - 3.25b

Any thoughts, suggestions or comments?

Cheers,
Alan

That's why it is called "Craparola".
