I am trying to sell Telstra and Optus $10 credit amounts for $7. But no one seems to want them. Just curious if anyone has any insights into why. Are the prices too expensive?

You don't become a "member" of Usenet newsgroups. Try searching on Google
for "Newsreader".

So you're offering them prepaid credit they could get at the standard going
rate, for.. what, exactly? A discount? If so, you're giving your money away.
If you're trying to make a profit this way, well, you've just joined the
ranks of Internet Idiots Anonymous.

Could it be because you're selling a veritable shitload of credit for $7
that they suspect you've done something seriously dodgy? Hell no! Nobody
would ever be THAT sensible!
Tell you what - tell me where you live, and I'll come over and hand you ONE
HUNDRED DOLLARS CASH for your $1000 credit. But I'll expect you to transfer
it to me while I stand there and verify its.
Oh, not interested any more? What a surprise.

It looks like delusional teenage criminal activity, actually.

LOL. A fool and his money are soon parted.
You're a kid who has $1000 to just piss against the wall?
Obviously the lack of parental attention has caused your problem to
start with.

I thought it was a great story line - bought $1,000 credit so
that he wouldn't run out at 1c/minute.

If i paid $500 for $1000 credit, why would i sell it to you for $100? Tell you what, How about i transfer the credit to your phone FIRST, and then you pay me? As for my address, depends, do you live in Townsville?
If u think i am doing something illegal, wouldn't i have less than 100% positive feedback on ebay?

First of all, im 21, not really classified as a kid. As for how i managed to come across the credit, if anyone wants to see the RECIEPT from TELSTRA, please feel free to email me, and i will email you a scanned copy. Thanks for being so nice.
Wow, i thought this newsgroup was a bunch of smart people, yet it seems to be full of geriatrics.
Oh, just so you know, just incase one of you decides to defame me again, please be assured it will cost me nothing to file a defamation action against anyone. I happen to be a final year law student.
On a more polite note, if anyone wishes to doubt the legality of my actions, please feel free to make a buy now purchase of credit and i will transfer credit BEFORE recieving payment.

Not a particularly good one, if you think a registrar would waive the
filing fee for a vexatious defamation action (unless you intend to abuse
the processes of a federal court instead).

My appologies. No professional costs. It will cost me only the filling fee of $12.50. Happy?

Where do you get $12.50 from?
Assuming you're in Queensland (and that "Unkit" is a natural person, rather
than a corporation), the fee for filing the originating process in your
proposed defamation action would be as follows:
Supreme Court: $445.00
District Court: $425.00
Magistrates Court: $164.00-$105.00
Even a minor debt claim of less than $2500 attracts a filing fee of $44.00.

Like I said, im a law STUDENT not a lawyer. I wouldnt waste money like that on a comment made on a website. Just incase you didn't know, they have A small Claims Tribunal now, and the filing fees for a claim under $500 is $12.50.
Okay Mr. Bigshot? Now unless you have something to say which actually answers my question, I would appreciate it if you didn't reply. It's obvious however that you will choose to do so simply because you find it difficult to stay on the topic. Have a great day Sir/Madam.
If you do choose to reply to my post, please be assured you will not be receiving a response from me; not because I am afraid to respond, but simply because I choose not to waste my time.

Thats obvious. And one that is guaranteed to fail as well.

You have always been, and always will be, completely and utterly
irrelevant. What you might or might not appreciate in spades.

They don't take defamation actions. My appologies. In which case, seems like you guys can say anything about me you want. Make sure you do so, because it is obviously what you prefer to do rather than answer the actual question for which the post was started.

Not hard to create new accounts when your feedback drops below 100%, is it,
Kid?
Here's a clue for you, and its free, non-kids (IE. ADULTS) use REAL NAMES,
not "nicknames", in newsgroups

Thank you to all of those people who bought credit off me, i got rid of $150 credit this auction. Look out for the next one, should be about the same time next month.
And to the people who have nothing better to do, than to try and take the piss out of someones post, here are a few things to note:
1. I have been a member of ebay for over a year, If I created a new account, dont you think the date would show that IDIOTS.
2. Regardless of what you had to say, people still bought credit.
3. If i am prepared to submit a reciept, it will have a receipt number. ANY IDIOT can walk up to telstra and ask for a reprint of the reciept, or an authentication.
4. It's extremely noticible how the Fuc*wits who wanted to walk upto me and buy my credit didn't take up the offer of me transferring credit first.
5. The reason I don't know the filling fees is because I have never encountered the need to file a personal action against anyone, the person who seems to know it, obviously has a character which requires knowledge of this.
6. All of you really need a different hobby from the one you have got. It's amazing that all the rude, posts come from the same people each and every thread. Nice one guys, I wish I could be like you (NEVER).
Once again, thanks to the people who bought credit off me, it was really appreciated. You got a good deal, and so did I. If anyone wants a large amount of credit, just email me, and I will list a buy now with a cheaper price, because if it costs me less to list, it costs you less to buy. Thanks

Or has enough of a clue that they can work out what the fees are.
