what do you mean convert? Are you using a graphic-based (not text based) .sub file (vobsub format)? Are the filenames all identical? ie;
[filename].avi
[filename].sub
[filename].idx

i had srt and it works fine but it's so small i thought i'd try sub ones! i used a program called Txt2VobSub.exe to convert the srt. it gave me an idx and a sub filewhich i renamed the same as the avi. then playing with the computer is fine the subtitles are nice and big easy to read but no go in the lg df8900p!!!
any idea??
cheers

sorry, I haven't had any experience with conversion using that program. I would imagine that the LG is pretty fussy with format, so even a slight difference might throw things out.
Try loading up an .idx file that you know works on the LG in notepad, and compare it with the one you've created. You may be able to spot a difference.
