Hyundai HY3455 wont play avi -sound only-please help ?

Could anyone help me - i have burned onto cd-r data - a movie 699 MB - avi file -all the other ones ive done worked perfectly - using Hyundai HY3455 DVD player - but this time the file plays with perfect sound but no picture -just the menu screen.The same file plays well on my PC as well. Any suggestions to overcome this problem would be appreciated ?

Try running the file through MPEG4MODIFIER or GSPOT to see what options the file has been encoded with. Chances are there is something your player con't handle, e.g. QPEL or 3 warp point GMC.

This is also a common problem if the resolution of the image is higher than what the player supports.
Most players have a maximum resolution of 720x576 (same as DVD res), and I do know of other players that behave the same if the resolution is higher then that (in either direction).
