Can someone help me with my MZ-60?

I have a pentax MZ-60 and until now i have just been using it as pretty much automatic aperture but now i want to do the aperture and shutter speed myself but every time I try to it just starts flashing AV-- can someone tell how to use it please?

You must leave the aperture ring on the A setting. The aperture on the MZ-60 is controlled ELECTRONICALLY.

So, leave the ring on "A".

You need to cycle through the mode button (programs) until the top panel says "Av" (Between "Tv" and "M").

When you turn the wheel the Av value will change, and the shutter speed will adjust to match.
