To those reporting problems with the Optus website last month - you
might want to give it a go now. It's been redesigned in the new
'simple' marketing motif.

For historic reference (or as long as ImageShack keeps hosting it)

The new one sucks!

I liked the old site, open it up, click on Pay Bill and off I'd go. Now I have to select it from a
menu.

A backward step. :-(

I'm using Mozilla 1.7.8 (Linux), but the new Optus site says:

Sorry! Your browser is not supported.

Please upgrade to one of the below browser versions:

Internet Explorer version 5 and above, or
Internet Explorer version 6 and above, or
Mozilla 1 and above, or ...

But when I click on "proceed without upgrading", it all seems to
work anyway.

Good one Optus.

Yep, yet another site design from the dark ages.

I've sent feedback via their supplied form suggesting they get with the 21st
century, drop the browser check and make it THEIR responsibility that the
site displays on all known browsers (which it does, incidentally, with Opera
once you hit the "enter anyway" link).

Your responsibility to get a decent browser, not theirs
