Did anyone else have signal strength troubles watching the cricket on SBS HD
last night in the windy conditions in melbourne ?
I had to turn over to Fox Sports 2 and listen to their pathetic biased
commentary as the picture interruptions were terrible.
I am in outer east of Melbourne.

Yes - Same problem down on the end of the Mornington Peninsula which
is a fringe area. Listened to ABC radio instead. SBS always has
problems with bad atmospheric conditions. I'll have to buy a better
antenna.

I always assumed it was the POS antenna in our (rental) house roof.
Down in SE Melb analog reception in the house was barely watchable so I went
and bought a STB. Digital reception romps analog, the picture may skip
every 20 minutes or so on the weaker channels.
SBS seems to have the weakest signal and becomes unwatchable on windy
nights.
Glad to know someone else has the same problem, can't wait for the lease to
finish so I can leave this dump behind

It wouldn't hurt to contact the agent and ask if the landlord would agree to an
early termination of the lease.
