I've been trying to set up fax on my PC. Somehow, it is unable to complete copy file "fxsclntR.dll".
I've done it on a couple of other machines without a hitch.
Can someone please help?
My rig is AMD2800, 512mb, 80gb, XP pro.
Thanks.

It should be on your XP CD - look for fxsclntR.dl_ in the i386 folder and copy it manually, then rename to .dll
Or copy it across from one of your other machines, if they're handy.
Alternatively, it is available here:

Thanks Ozeagle.
Yes, I have the XP CD, but something is preventing it from copying the fxsclntR.dll. After another few attempts, it tells me "setup cannot copy file fxscount.h"
Prior to my first post, someone suggested I do a memtest. I have swapped RAM instead. I've even tried using another CD-ROM.
Any other suggestions?

Very strange - well it's only a driver. Can you skip installation of that file and then copy the downloadable one that I linked to across?

Success at last!
I persisted with the XP CD. I had to open i386 to access the file, (do you know why this was necessary?) and this is what got me stumped because I didn't have to do this with the other 2 machines - just a couple of clicks and its all done.
Once again, thanks for your kind response.
Cheers

There are some services that will let you send and receive faxes over the internet. You usually have to pay for them, but depending on your needs, they may be worth looking into. Try Googling "internet fax".
