Nintaus DVD Player


In the old forum there was a good discussion on the Nintaus DVD player.

All good feedback.

I contacted Nintaus Australia through their web site and had no response - so from that aspect their service is poor.

Perhaps a good addition to this forum would be feedback from customers as to the price they have paid for players and where they bought from so that new purchasers can find the best value!

I have a Nintaus myself(was given it as a Birthday Present earlier this year)- not sure on price($369 was a price I have seen somewhere?).
I know it was bought from Jb-HiFi(pretty certain they stock Nintaus) and have had no problems with it(coming up towards 6 months owning it).
I only play DVD's on it(even though it can also be used for cd's/cdr's and a few other things as well).
Sorry to hear that you got no feedback from the company- excellent DVD player,had no problems playing other Region Disks on it.

I contacted JB Hifi and they are out of stock at the Brighton VIC store. No-one seems sure when new stock will arrive !

For those of you interested, the Nintaus range all seem to be fairly simple, and servicable. I recently opened mine up, to find a DVD-ROM with IDE cables attached, and an ESS sound board of some description..

On another note, im looking for a firmware update for my Nintaus N9901.

Also, i have had my Nintaus for over a year now, with no problems, and it cost me $129AU at a JB Hi-Fi sale.
Great player, and plays everything from my burnt DVD's/CD's to MP3's etc.. LOVE IT!
