It's actually legitimate. The other thing is Toby, the street he referred to
is KNOWN by that other name. We have a road close-by that to my knowledge
has at least three different names. Broughton Street, Remembrance Drive and
Old Hume Highway. Any one of these will prove the case. I know.

No............our friend Vincent already knows what road it is and has even
admitted that he knows it by two names. The road could have 48 names, it's a
road and it's open and used by other people. That's all the prosecution has
to prove. Furthermore Toby, what about roads that don't have a name??? I've
used a nearby creek as a road name when it doesn't have one of it's own.
This would be a fairly regular occurrence with country crashes on dirt
roads.

Well Spooky, this is how almost every street got its name years ago
Smith Street was where the Smiths lived
Long Gully Road was the road along the long gully
sheepwash Creek Road was down by the sheepwash
etc etc etc.
I am not disagreeing with you Spooky nor am I trying to start a debate on
whether I should or not have gone over the speed limit
I asked a question on a legal arguement
as what is known as the Main Road goes around the town and one end of it is
in a 100 kph zone with the other in a 50 zone
which end was I booked from?
only the cop can tell
Besides, I spoke to a QC mate, he said it could be successfully argued, but
it could still cost me more than the originsl fine
also, I have paid the fine, lost the three points
So, discussion closed thank you for your input, your opinion is always
appreciated
By me, anyway

People who repost unsnipped 5kb posts to add a one liner are guilty of an
offence, btw.
I've given up in aus.tv and have set the killfile to nuke anything over 40
lines. That's 3kb. But I have hopes of aus.cars and so haven't set that up.
Yet.
