Well, I dunno, I saw it elsewhere and it usually works ok..

I'll kick it off.. And remeber this is a computer used by my largely computer illiterate mother and father, so that explains all the useless/stupid files on the desktop that I just dont touch.

ok what you do is....

1. when your desktop is ready hit the button print screen (probably looks like - prtscn)
2. go into paint and click ctrl v
3. save as a jpeg

thats all i know

i dont know what to do when posting it

well if you want to host it somewhere, I would suggest Image Shack (www.imageshack.us) as it doesnt require any registration or anything.
So basically, goto your desktop, hit print screen, open it up in paint, or whatever you may have, save it, then upload it using imageshack, then surround the url for the image in [img] tags. Or just use the code generated by image shack.

Shy, when you look at your keyboard, at the top right (to the right of your backspace key) there should be 9 button, the first being Print Screen. Soemtimes it has Sys Rq underneat it as well. It's directly above the insert, delete, home page up page down keys :)

I'm at a new workstation at work so I only have the company logo on mine :(

See the babe thread for wallpapers, see the deskopt thread for desktops. Its more about the arrangement.
