Naah most Aussies aren't touchy about patriotism at all,and we badmouth
our politicians for a reason - they're a bunch of cunts*.

It is good to see you aussies trying to emulate Americans. America is, after

Ah! V8's in the USA (and Canada), very popular!. That's for sure. My
favourite V8's that I've owned were a 1969 Mustang with a 301 CID and an
automatic tranny that just kicked ass for a $500 "junker", and a 1972 Corvette
with a 350 LT1 which was the last year before they screwed with the Mako Shark
and made it impotent, and one that I'd really like to have back, a 1971 Chevy
Malibu with a 327 small block V8 that was stock from tip-to-toe. Most of those
cars were "muscled up" in those days, which really destroys the value.
I had a friend who had a Dodge SuperBee, back then and they made cars like
that for public consumption so they were allowed into what is now NASCAR. It
was a mother f**ker of a car. 383 CID and handled like a boat! I think that
it was 350 HP.

america home the the v8?
is that why V8 Supercars is the BEST touring car series in the world?
Aussies have massive talent, Will Davidson Just got 2nd in the first
ever A1 GP Series,
and mark webber has the talent to be world champion. Pity about his
team mates taking him out and a car that is obviously not the fastest
or the most reliable out there, Once he has the car, he will be a
winner.

There's lots of stuff in Australia, even for Canucks like me!
There are only a few Toronto's. NSW has one!
http://www.walkabout.com.au/locations/NSWToronto.shtml
"The town of Toronto was established by the Excelsior Land Investment and
Building Company who purchased the entire Ebenezer estate in 1885 with plans to
create a tourist resort on the shores of the lake not too far from the coming
railway line. It was named in honour of world-champion sculler Edward Hanlan
who hailed from Toronto in Canada and who competed in Australia in the 1880s.
The company built the Toronto Hotel in 1887. Visitors initially disembarked at
Fassifern train station and travelled by boat from Fennell Bay to Toronto
wharf. However Excelsior established a tramway connection in 1891 which was
supplanted by a proper branch line in 1911."
Ned Hanlan is a hero in "the real" Toronto as well!
