Im looking at buying my first projector,is DLP better than LCD and which
would be a good projector for a budget of $3000

Dave,
Please list to me why DLP is better than LCD.
Don't write off LCD.
Just remember if your sensitive to DLP rainbows you are not going to
enjoy your DLP projector.
The whole DLP vs LCD isn't black or white. There's much greyscale
there, so there's no clear ones better than the other.
Much like the LCD vs Plasma debate, I simply say to people there's not
one distinctly better than the other, they both have their pros and
cons.

Dear Dave we have the HS50 on special at $3500,and the HS60's are coming
soon (in Novemeber)at 10000:1 contrast,

Panasonic AE700. Great projector and you should be able to get one about
$2700.
