I switched from Voda post paid to voda pre-paid a few days ago and now I
can't get to my work WAP email interface. The ONLY WAP page I can get up is
the google wap home page but can't search or anything. Everytime I get an
error saying page cannot be found. Says same thing trying to load Live! home
page. Was working very happily on post paid account. Spent almost an hour on
the phone with level 2 data products support on the weekend and they
couldn't figure out what's wrong (mind you they don't have a pre-paid test
account to check for themselves and worked fine for them on their post paid
test account - uhu!). All gprs settings have been checked many times and are
all set right for pre-paid access point etc. Finally they said it's my IE
browser in pocket PC and told me to install another WAP browser. Have
installed two other wap browsers and same problem. Called level 2 support
back today and was told its a known problem with O2 and Voda pre-paid.
Contacted O2 and they know nothing about it.

Anyone else had the same problem? anyone know how to fix it?
Mind you with their new pre-paid gprs charges of $1 per 5 minutes with a
minimum of $1 per session makes it pretty unusable due to price! but would
be good in case of urgent email check required.

Report them to the TIO. Tell the TIO that Vodafone promised you that there
would be no functional change with the transition to prepaid.

Clearly a pathological liar.
