How to Contact Federal Politicians.
------------------------------------
If you feel strongly about a federal civil liberties issue,
(ie: http://www.chiefminister.act.gov.au/docs/B05PG201_v281.pdf )
then you should contact your local member of federal Parliament
and your local State senators and let them know your concerns.
This will help you identify how to contact federal parliamentarians.
How to contact your local federal member
-------------------------------------------
The House of Representatives is the lower house of the Parliament
of the Commonwealth of Australia.
The Prime Minister sits in the House of Representatives.
To find out who your local member visit the House of Representatives website.
http://www.aph.gov.au/house/members/mi-alpha.asp
If you don't know who your local member is, you can find out by visiting
the Australian Electoral Commission website https://oevf.aec.gov.au/
Just fill in the details on the AEC page and it will tell you
the name of your federal electorate.
How to contact your state Senators
------------------------------------
The Senate is the upper house of the Parliament of the Commonwealth of Australia.
The Senate is sometimes called the 'States House' or the 'House of Review'.
Each State has 12 senators, and each Territory has 2 senators.
To find out who your State Senators are, visit the Senate website.
