Worse, they'll probably have an unemployment rate like they did when Howard
was treasurer.

Since the last recession in the early 1990s the unemployment rate has
gradually declined. However, since the early 1980s the unemployment rate
has been higher than was common in the 1960s and 1970s.

We already have that! If you mean it will increase, then I agree.
However that *IS* JWH's only policy, to increase the gap between rich and
poor. He has done a brilliant job so far.

Might have something to do with population growing too fast for the
countries infrastructure
automation and of course the increase in working hours per worker, thus
negating the use of extra shifts
and now Howard wants all those non working spouses of low income
earners, pensioners(invalid) to get out and find a job or they will be
penalised
just in time for lil Johnny's "take it or leave it(be sacked)" workplace
initiatives
welcome to 1955 people, Lil Johnny's utopia

The current unemployment rates are all bullshit anyway.
Anyone on "work for the dole" is not counted as unemployed, and thats a
LOT of people.

This country is full of opportunities it is the individuals choice weather
the take advantage of these or not.
If you are in a dead end job earning a pissy $600 a week that is your
choice.

'Tis true...they have changed the nmethod for calculating the unemployment
rate so much that...it's really odd that the so-called opposition doesn't
make some sort of objection about it. I guess they're happy just collecting
their pay and tagging along with the most deceitful, money-grubbing
government Australia has ever had...after all, they're all part of the
rich-greedy-stealing class.
