can anyone help me with this problem. the interior light and the
bootlight have both stopped working. I have replaced the globes, but
this has not fixed the problem.

Have you checked all the fuses? There could be a blown one. If both
lights stopped working at the same time I'd bet it's a fuse and not a
switch or wire.

I have checked the fuses that are under the bonnet, but there are no
fuses marked for either the interior light or the boot light. I dont
know if there are any fuses elsewhere.

Drop down the panel below the dash on the RHS of the steering column.
IIRC the fuses are all marked -- if not I can have a look at the
factory wiring diagram.

Thanks, John. Have located the fuses, and one of them had blown. I
replaced the fuse and everything is now fine.

Did you use a screwdriver to release the clips or the ignition key? ;-)
