A few months back I bought a $10 sms voucher lasting 6 months from a
servo for Boost (Optus reseller), then last week bought another $10
voucher from an internet cafe, unaware it would only last a week. More
fool me. But I phoned the 1800 555 Optus/Boost number today, and was
told if I buy a 30, 50 or 100 dollar recharge before the end of
October, it would last 6 months, but after that, they're only going to
last for 30 days. ($100 in 30 days?! If I wanted to do that, I'd be on
contract, er, which I also am...) I'm a low volume user, and mostly
sms, so just thought I'd give similar folk the heads-up.
Pre-paid really now is for the kiddies.
