Base Dv-328

Hi,
I have purchased BASE DV-328 DVD player. It was working fine until yesterday when my daughter accidently pressed a certain key sequence from Remote. The picture was immediately on standstill (Pause). I tried resuming play but nothing fruitfull. I tried putting it off and on, Another disk of VCD and Audio format but the only thing it now says "Loading" and after some time it comes back saying "No Disk"
Can sombody help me as to what needs to be done.

To be honest, I would be very surprised if she managed to jag any kind of key sequence that would put it into any kind of strange mode.
Mostly the key sequences are for setting region coding, and the chance of hitting the right sequence by accident... well, get her to buy you a lotto ticket if she did ;-)

Anyway, if there is an option to load the setup factory defaults in the setup, you could try that.
Or it could just be a dirty laser lense, a cleaning disc might help.
If it is still under warrranty, I would suggest taking it back if you can, as like I said, it would be a very (un)lucky key hit even if such a one existed.
Unless she was playing with the power button... Electronic goods don't like on/off/on/off/on/off/on etc quickly..
