It would have to be damn fast to keep up though. Yourd be better off just
buyign a UHF.
Or are you just wanting to listen in?

Considering the range is relatively limited, would there be much point?
If it's close to you then you could buy a $30 uniden handset to listen;
if it's further away then it may be in an area that you are not
interested in.

Some UHF-come-computer-nerds stream UHF from their local area, normally
though its the local police and fire.

Cant think of any off the top of my head, but do a google search for the
various channel numbers. I used to listen to Sydneys channel 7 repeater a
while back on occasion, they fought more than our channel 7 did :)

Cheers,
Krawler

Why would you want to, I've got a UHF in the truck and most of the time
its turned off.
All you get around the city is idiots abusing each other.

I can set up a uhf cb stream, indoors my handheld picks up Kurrajong CH2 and
Blaxland CH4.
Don't know why you'd want to listen. Might as well read naughty words in the
dictionary for all you're likely to hear.
