**Me too. 4.5 Grand for those ugly pieces of crap. What is it with shiny
alloy wheels anyway? I saw them everywhere in the US, back in '95 and
thought: "Thank goodness, Australians don't have them. They look like crap."
Now they're everywhere here too. I kinda like those ones with a little black
anodising in them and a frosted finish. Nicely understated, IMO.

I saw a beater Ford LTD in the Southport Maccas the other day with similar
wheels. The wheels would have been worth several times more than the car I
guess.

I understood that we were allowed no more than 2"increase in diameter
over max std fitted to the vehicle.

Who's the wanker? The one who originally bought them (... and realised they
were shit and sold them), or the one who just bought them, having seen how
ugly they are?

Blech. That vehicle deserves a defect on the spot. Actually think they
could drive it that way?
All those need is some spinning multi coloured LEDS.

Those type of rim which I've seen on a number of different cars, are the
most bizzare, fucked things possible to do to any car.

Take a look around at the youngens doing up their cars these days. Ever
since about 96/97 its all been about the sound and size of your exhaust
and rims and fuck all else gets done. Yet they still manage to spend
thousands and thousands on just that.
Oh and the ever important stereo.
