Yule Be Wiggling is presented in a 4:3 Full Frame picture.
The video quality of the DVD is absolutely spot on. The picture is so clear and sharp and there is not even a hint of any imperfections.
The colours are so bright and rich and flesh tones are very realistic.
The kids get an amazing transfer here and will love watching all the bright colours of the characters clothing, props and sets. This DVD loos superb!
Audio is in Dolby Digital 2.0 Stereo.
The audio is very clear and like the picture quality, it can't be faulted.
Speech is very easy to follow and I don't think we'll be hearing of kids complaining to their parents about the miming (which is spot on anyway).
The mains and center work well together to present a nice front sound stage.
<center><B>Extra features…..</b></center>
<LI><U><I>Sing along with The Wiggles.</I></U> - You are given the option to select individual video clips from the main feature, or "play them all". The clips play along with subtitles for the musical lyrics.
<LI><U><I>Read along with The Wiggles.</I></U> - You can choose to read by yourself of with The Wiggles narrating. "<I>The Christmas Story"</i> is the first story that can be chosen.
It's basically how The Wiggles and friends (Dorothy,Wags etc...) help a fairy to get a make-over so she can sit at the top of a Christmas tree.
<i>"Want to know more about Christmas?: Tell me all about Christmas Dorothy"</i> is the second story that can be chosen. Captain Feathersword asks many questions about Christmas and Dorothy explains it all. Everything such as Jesus, presents, Christmas day, Christmas cards, The 3 Wise Men, even why some Chistmas stories have snow when it's summer here.
It's actually pretty informative and I have to admit to learning a couple of things from this.
<LI><U><I>Photo Gallery.</i></u>- 7 still photo's of the various characters or The Wiggles.
<LI><U><I> DVD-ROM Games.</I></U> - You can choose from the following....
<I>Playtime Drag & Drop Game, The Christmas Magic Buttons</i> or go to the official<i> Wiggles web site.</i>

I'll say straight off that this DVD is a winner.
The quality of the audio/visuals and content on this DVD is superb and it's going to keep the kids entertained for ages.
I have a 2 year old daughter and she honestly hasn't left the last Wiggles review disc alone since it got here, but that soon got replaced by this one when it turned up at our doorstep.
This disc was always going to be easy to review since my daughter has been playing it many, many times daily on the DVD player in her play room and I'm now at the point where I can sing along to most of the songs. Oops! Did I just admit that!?!?!
None of the more popular Christmas carols are used on this DVD and all songs are Wiggles originals.
Sure, it's a Christmas themed DVD, but I can assure you that this will be played all year round by the little ones.
The Wiggles can't do anything wrong at the moment and they are laughing all the way to the bank.
Good on them though and as long as they continue to bring out quality kids entertainment like this, they'll be laughing for a long time yet.
As I said earlier, this DVD is a winner and the kids will love it!
