Hey guys,

Got a problem with my Series 1 VR commodore executive (1993),
after driving for about 20 minutes, theres a loud squeeking and crunching
sound that comes from around the front right of the car (in front of
steering wheel and around front right tire). When I go over bumps its more
obvious, but when on a flat road theres a constant squeeking coming from the
front right.

Does anyone know what the problem is? And how much roughly to fix it.

Thanks in advance

Sounds like your front shocks are in need of replacement.

Constant squeeking sounds like the squeeler of your brakes lettnig you know
the brakes need replacing?

The rest of it sounds like a combo of bushes and shocks, take it to Fulcrum
or similiar.

ack it up and spin the wheel , now does it sound like a bearing ? or the
brake or something which is even more expensive ?

**Brakes or wheel bearings would be my guess.

The brake disc backing plate is bent or has something stuck in it. As it
heats up it contacts the disc and causes the noise.
