Apparently no-one has told these fucks that the user-pays Scam is a
Scam.

Never mind.
They'll all go someplace very very bad when they die.
For the uninitiated, the game goes something like this:
GovCo takes Taxes of all sorts off the population.
GovCo then spends a proportion of this taxation on a 'service'.
GovCo bleats about the cost of the service for a while, and then
discovers the miracle of User Pays.
Which of course is *already* going on out there in their area of
influence - big time.
This miracle - the user Pays Scam - is then used to fleece the
electorate - or better yet, a minority portion and therefore not too
dangerous (electorally) portion of the electorate to an even greater
degree.
An example - the genesis of the process, if you will:
I was told to visit a major hospital to have some work done as a
follow-up to treatment for a minor injury I'd incurred. The Quack I'd
normally attend wasn't working the day of the incident, you see.
Anyhow, I turned up with the appointment card at the time and place
nominated, naively believing that those who did the treatment would be
best to follow it up.
Closed. Not even for renovation. Just closed.
I asked WTF was happening, and was told to see the 'registrar'.
I did, and repeated the questions.
This turd - and I'm being charitable in that description - told me I
had the option of going to a private doctor.
Anyhow, the turd is a sadder and wiser turd these days.
Apparently no-one had bothered to call him on the Scam - and in a very
loud voice in front of the usual gang of bullied into submission
idiots, too.
Still chuckle to think of the surprised look on his mug when I
explained quite clearly that I *had_no_choice* and had to pay him and
his gang of idiots along with their exponents of maladministration
whether I used their questionable services or not, so he
*had_no_choice* to organize treatment for me right then and there as
nominated on the appointment document:-)
Bastard had to do the work on me himself, too, because the 'staff' who
should have done it had run away quite early into the show.
And yes, he did try to hurt me. As you'd expect:-)
