View Full Version : Audi tricycle!

Was lucky enough this morning to be watching a soccermum at the wheel of an
Audi Allroad, fanging around tailgating, lane-swapping, in a
hurry/had-to-be-there-yesterday driving style. Sitting in front of me at
lights, floored it as soon as they went green, got 50m up the road and her
back wheel falls off!!! Sparks, smoke, fishtailing etc ensued. I pull up
beside her, notice after-market alloys, & she’s the sole occupant. Was
about to offer help but then thought “fuck it, sort yourself out”. She’ll
be lucky to get anything repaired this year.
I know I’m a bastard but it made my day ; p
Narrabeen, Sydney.

WTF is a "Soccer Mum"?
Does she get kicked around a lot or does she have big balls?

Because it's an all-road, or just because it is an Audi? If the latter,
why not? I had an Audi. It had aftermarket alloys because the originals
got shagged coming out of a *very* awkward work car-park in brissy every
working day for two years.

Soccer mum - Yuppy but not necessarily yummy mum of teenagers who always
have somewhere to be dropped off usually for sports of some sort, always
in a hurry, often behind the wheel of a Volvo wagon or similar in their
tennis whites.
There was a song playing on JJJ about a year ago that was actually titled
'Volvo-driving soccer-mom'.
