From the Serenity Oz website
Further to confirmation of the DVD artwork last week, the artwork for
the EzyDVD tin case and JB Hi-Fi slip case/O-Ring has also been
finalised. This artwork has obviously found its way onto the respective
websites for those retailers and has since found its way onto this forum.
As such we will not take up space and show the artwork here that you
have already seen as that is the final creative but we will confirm some
further details about each:
Tin Case: EzyDVD have produced 7,000 of these. The tin case will not
carry the rating. They have said that it is part of a pre-order campaign
so you should receive the tin even when you order online. Please check
this with the store that you order at though.
Slip Case/O-Ring: We have produced 6,000 of these. The slip case will
not carry the rating. JB Hi-Fi will manage how the slip cases are
distributed so if you pre-order, please check with the store to see that
you receive the slip case with your DVD. To clarify some discussions
which have been taking place on the forum, the slip case will be open at
the top and the bottom, not on one side like a traditional slip case. It
is sometimes referred to as an O-Ring to differentiate it from a slip
case and because we like using silly, useless jargon in this industry!
With regard to the mouse mats, the full strategy for these are yet to be
confirmed by Sanity. We will be in a position to share this and the
artwork with you in the new year and we apologise for the delay.
