Hello, I have a PC100 mainboard M596. Its running a P1 233mhz what I would like to Know ( and cant figure out) is......will it take a AMD chip, what type, and the fastest?? thank you in advance

found it, it can take up to AMD K6 or K6-2 366MHz.....but would I have to UPGRADE THE BIOS please help
