next week some classic Australian shows are starting up on WIN TV (Carson's Law, Matlock Police etc).
is there any practical way to record a WIN TV feed from a city location?

If you have a big aerial it is, especially from elevated locations in
the southern suburbs.

Hey
I live in Maroubra (eastern suburbs) and get great reception for WIN
with an amplifier for my antenna.

Not just the southern suburbs. Anywhere with reasonable elevation can get
the signals. A lot of houses in the Hills area have antennas pointing
towards Knights Hill. The output of the digital channels is 250kW which is 5
times what Sydney channels output. I am in the Hills area and receive the
digital channels without any amplification.
