Hey,
Anyone knows where to get Klipsch ProMedia 5.1 (speakers) in Australia? They used to be at Emagen a while ago, but now have been withdrawn. I couldn't find them anywhere else since then. Help, anyone?
Thanx

Try MicroDirect (http://www.microdirect.com.au/enter.ihtml)

Already did. They don't have them and no ETA. The only place I've found them so far is TechBuy. But it says they'll have 'em "mid-2002". Nowhere else goes even close to this.:D

Yep, did, too. I found both of them in the dealers' search on the Klipsch site (as you did, I recon). They don't have it, either. But thanx for the effort, anyway.:)

Klipsch ProMedia 4.1 400w 5-piece speaker set In Stock $616.00
Got that from Aus PC (http://www.auspcmarket.com.au/) Maybe they can get the 5.1s as well.

I've asked AusPCMarket, as well. They said they plan to get the 5.1, but no ETA at the moment.
So, for now, I'm thinking of either buying 4.1 Klipsch or Creative Inspire 5700. Or just sit on my butt and wait for the 5.1 Klipsch to appear in Australia... Don't know what's better, though...

Always want the set when the 4.1 came out a while back but can't afford it. Spend too much on DVDs, perharps!

You could try Harris Technology too....
FWIW, the Creative Speakers aren't a patch on the Klipsch.
I have the older Creative DTT2500, and they are OK (I got them cheap from the US a while ago), they are fine for my parents and our loungeroom (smallish room), but the sub isnt too powerful, and their range isnt the greatest. But for the money, they aint bad :)
In my bedroom I have a set of Yamaha TSS-1, which also do DTS (mmmmmm, DTS....arrrhhhhh). Again, fine for a smaller room, but not as powerful as the Klipsch...but then, they were under $400 at the time ;)
www.3dsoundsurge.com might give you an idea of speakers to get if the Klipsch dont come out anytime soon. Maybe some Midilands that EYO sell?

Well, the Creative Inspire 5700 aren't the cheapest speakers on the market, either;) . They're usually sold for around $700+. With that price I'd better pay $200 more and buy Klipsch. If only someone was selling them...
Btw, HT doesn't stock the 5.1 Klipsch, either. damn...
