Hi all,
I'm having to get a van to put an electric wheelchair in the back. So
far, in our price range and in the styles *likely* to accomodate the
kind of lift I need (I won't be in the chair when it's stored in the
back of the van), the one we like most is the Toyota Spacia (~2001).
However, in the two second hand ones we've test driven, the driver's
seat has been rotated to the left between 8 and 15 degrees! Is this
simply because some rather overweight people have been cramming
themselves into what is not a very roomy driver's seat, and thus
twisting it a little over the last five years of use, or is there a
problem with the seats in this model?
Cheers,
Ari
PS- anyone who suggests a Kia Carnivale gets full poo bags from the park
sent to them :P

I'm going to die rather sooner than I'd like. I tried to protect my
neighbours from crime, and became the victim of it. Complications in
hospital following this resulted in a serious illness. I now need a bone
marrow transplant. Many people around the world are waiting for a marrow
transplant, too. Please volunteer to be a marrow donor:
