380 can't win. Wheels themselves have said after comparison testing
that the BF Falcon is a better car than the 380. And if it isn't the
best car in its class, I don't see how it can be Car of the Year.

I'd be looking more towards the new MX-5, 3 series, Lexus IS250 or
Toyota Yaris for a winner personally. (Not that I've driven any of
these cars, but Wheels seems to like them).

Yeah...they like clumbsy handling Mazda's with back to front doors....I
am a Mazda fan however RX7 kicked ass over RX8 in every respect except
the engine.

380 will likey win it...so much fuss has been made over it(more than
likey SerialPest started it)and it is the only new type car design that
has been produced this year.
Bombadores and Falcons are just mock ups of previous models and have
been since 91.. GM will seriously need to do what those guy's in the
piguwot add did to ever get car of the year again...yeah use alot of
body filler,not just a little bit here and there.

Shit thats pretty bad I bet a lot of people looked at the new 380 thought
thats not a large car because the exterior dimentions are closer to a
midsize car than a falcodore.
Although they are a nice car to drive but nothing spectacular.

That exactly what I thought. THe Magna' sinterior was really too small for
its class. Tej 380 doesnt look like a bigger car - so it will struggle to
take sales off Falcodore. People looks for mid-size may just show their lack
of car knowledge by continuing to buy 4 cyl Camrys

The 380 needs to win, otherwise Mitsubishi are goooooooooooone
