I have a N361 Samsung on Orange CDMA [lemon?fair?] purchased new in
August 04'

After the warranty expired Oct.05 the phone started to play up and
carry on like a pork chop and play funny buggers.2 months outside of
warranty period.BITCH!

Spoke to Orange [they sold it to me] they said Samsung have "issues"
and they dont sell that brand anymore and where prepared to swap it
over for a Nokia and give me a full credit as long as i signed up for a
further 24 months.

Not happy that they Orange, now shit_can Samsung, after/during when
they sold it to me and telling me "oh yeah best phone on the market,
cannot go wrong with it blah blah blah" .

I then phone Samsung AUS [India?] and they told me THEY Samsung have
issues with
the Orange CDMA network that dont exist on the Telstra CDMA network.Go
figure...

Samsung God bless them, without any hesitation said they would cover it
under warranty [Hear that Nokia] and the guys down at Collingwood? its
agent fixed it on the spot while i waited.

Seemed ok till now [fade signal, cutting out, "Maintance Required" on
screen] same all over again

Spoke to Samsung [India/Calcutta?] again and they said its wellllllll
outside warranty now for almost 1/2 a year [not bothered to phone the
shysters @ Orange, they know/care nothing] and yes a bit of sweet
talking and yeap, they are DOING IT UNDER WARRANTY again!!!

Although its a pain to head on down to Collingwood again, its good to
see that Samsung stand behind its product MORE than 100%, its well
outside they warranty period they could walk away and i have no foot to
stand on.

I will buy Samsung again, but Orange=Lemon can go screw themselves

What a STUPID post. The fault is clearly with Samsung, yet you support them
and not Orange ?!??!

Let the buyer beware. Orange have a problem with customer relations, they
always give them the crap handsets first. If the customer yells loud enough,
they will upgrade them to the next (crap) handset. If you yell ultra loud,
they will upgrade you to their best available handset. I have watched this
time and again since they have had CDMA. Unfortunately, they are loosing
customers in droves because the average customer will not yell at all. (this
is a problem us Aussies have always had, and this is why we will always get
crap products)
