You can get SCSI-USB adapters but they cost more than a new scanner.

There are several adapters out there. I have an HP IIc which works so much faster than the "new" and "less expensive" scanners that I want to continue using it. I'll post the name of the adapter I acquire and a review of it once I have it installed.
