Im confused. Is this a classic car day? If so why is there a car from the
20s there, and a modern day GM pickup? What's so special about a stock
1990s Ford Mustang?

It is for any American vehicle.

So someone could rock up in a Holden Suburban? Or a Chrysler Voyager, or PT
Cruiser? What about a BMW X5 or Honda Accord?

Christ you're painful.
To the guy that owns it, probably very special. I'd like to know how you
can pick that it's stock from a photograph?
I go to the All Ford day that gets held in Sydney yearly and what a
shock that there are cars ranging from classics to current day vehicles!

Yep, they would be fine, though nearly everyone would laugh at them. The more modern the car at
such shows, the less the interest in them.

They wouldn't be allowed in.

The 59 Customline is Australian, based on yank parts, but I guess
they were not that worried.

It would be more accurate to describe one as an American car with some minor
Australian/Canadian garnishing :)

Not wrong. The food court downstairs did a roaring trade in cold drinks, and I'm sure the odd
person ventured down the street to the local RSL for a refreshment or two.

True, just like the Cobras. Well, I am fairly sure they were replicas. :-)
