The report on the radio said the accelerator had stuck..

Its quite easy. If one pushes the accelerator instead of the brake, you can
do an enormous amount of damage. I was watching an episode of COPS the
other day where a woman put a 4WD through the front of her house cos she hit
the wrong pedal - the cops were saying they'd never seen anything like it.

I've seen this in person in a bunnings carpark - though the man was about 70
so he wasn't a spring chicken anymore.
straight through the cinder block wall into the decorator area (pre bunnings
warehouse days)

But that man is a safer driver than his younger counterparts. All those damn
hoons out there should take a lesson from this safe drivers book.

hahaha, one of the funniest things I have ever seen, a bunch of wankers
pretending to be somebody else for a day, fanbloodytastic, hahaha, the
driver probably couldn't see where he was going because the big fat heifer
cow dressed as a bridesmaid was blocking his view, wasn't she a fat arse
ugly mean looking piece of work.

Incidentally, in that episode of COPS, the vehicle was actually in
incredible condition considering it was halfway into the living room and
went thru bricks and glass. When the tow truck pulled it out, the only
damage was scratches on the paint and of course shattered glass all over it,
but the tow guy said it was completely drivable.

Good old solid chassis truck. Designed to ensure as much energy as possible
is transferred to the people inside in an accident.

Actually it was a Mitsubishi Pajero (92-99 era)... doesn't that use a
car-like construction?

Ah the Mitsubishi Wanker. Not sure of the construction, but I would hope
that it would offer at least some sort of protection for its occupants.

We once had a dog we named Blondie. It was a bullie cross so best be a
wee bit careful especially if you're not strong enough to pick it up by
the collar and slap it about.
