Hi All,

I am looking for a quality, impedance protected/matched speaker switchbox
for up to 4 pairs of speakers. This is to select remote speakers in the
kitchen, and a couple of areas outside. The Niles SS-4 looks ideal as it
will work with 4 pairs of 4 ohm speakers, or any combination of 4, 8, 16 ohm
loads, while still prsenting a minimum 4 ohm load to the amp.

These are under $100 USD, but no one seems to ship from the states to Oz on
this type of stuff. I can get it locally (Melbourne) for $279.00 AUD, which
is just outrageous. Even with shipping and GST (if customs charged it) I
would land it for well under $200.00 AUD, if only I could find someone to
ship it.

I am not interested in the $50.00 4 way switch boxes from Jaycar, as they do
not work with 4 ohm speakers, and even with 8 ohm speakers can still drop
dangerously low in their load to the amp.

Does anyone have any suggestions?
