I would like to get rid of the Optus Zoo menu on my 6230i, as well as the
picture that appears on startup, as well as the "Nokia hands" that also
appear when the phone starts up.
Does anybody know how to go about this? I have an IR connection and the
Nokia PC Suite.
Cheers,
C3

I'd be interested to know the same for a Sony Ericsson K750i. One of
the "soft menu" buttons on the standby screen initiates a (charged)
GPRS session and loads the Optus Zoo page. I think I've deliberately
viewed that site about 3 times in the past 2 years, and it was just out
of curiosity. I've accidentally loaded it several times more...

K750i de-branding can be done using the data cable that comes with the
K750i and the software/firmwares from http://www.davinciteam.com.
Piece of cake if you follow the instructions.
To dump Optus (and associated settings) as well as the shutter noise
in silent mode 'feature' I flashed mine as follows:
Main Flash: K750i_R1L002_MAIN_EU_EMEA.DVT
File System: K750i_R1L002_FS_EU2.DVT
CDA: CDA102337/10 - Europe2
