G'day all,
I am in the market for a good budget new DVD player and the Pioneer 686A is
on my list. I have seen it advertised from $180-$230 at different places.
Just wonder what's a good price for it or is there another model/ Brand that
i should consider as well.
I think someone ( Paul ) here i have bought one at JB HiFi and mentioned the
good price.
All help are appreciated.

I have the 686 and it's a good unit.
SACD and DVD-A, great picture, sound for CD is great, so I'd do it, you
won't be disappointed.

I have 2 of the next model down and they are brilliant. If you aren't
looking at playing DVD-A or SACD I'd go for that one.

BingLee Rhodes (not sure if all stores) $199, so you could negotiate
that down then go to JB's and possibly get it lower.
I got mine at NAPF for 230odd
