Panasonic EH50 or Pioneer 530H DVD Recorder?

Hello,

Looking to get new DVD recorder just want to get some peoples thoughts on these two.......cause I dont like talking to salespeople...I've checked out the brochures but they can tell you only so much so I guess I'm after any real ife experiences anyone may have had with these pair.

Hi.
I have also been looking at these two machines. Just for your info, I
noticed that yesterday Panasonic dropped the RRP on the EH50 by over $100 -
starting to look attractive.

I have the Pana and love it .... I would've liked to check others but
decided to grab one of these on a whim - I have been told the Pioneer is a
great machine too

I haven't owned a Panasonic but have owned a Pioneer. From all accounts you
will be happy with either one.
Apparently the Pioneer is easier for on recorder editing and the Panasonic
does RAM, which some people consider to be a better format.
