VW no longer have a vehicle called Kombi. They had a bus briefly sold in
2003 under that name, but the current vehicle they sell is called the
Multivan.

VW have had a Kombi on and off since the late '50s. Saab has had a Combi
Coupe (more recently a Combi) on and of since the mid 70s. VW have had
about 30 years to say something if they wanted to! Cheers
