I tried to get the ones on the mates Clubman to let go by going into a
hairpin signed at 25kph at 100kph, I was expecting a bit of sideways fun
but the stupid things hung on with almost no sliding:-(

I've got some Bridgestone semi slicks on a spare set of rims for my WRX.
It's amazing how much a tyre can change the way the car handles. But when
they let go they really let go.

A couple of weeks ago at Phillip Is we messed around with the rears
springs weighs on the Clubman, we made the rear a lot firmer and on the
3 lap practise the rear end was very "loose".
We switched back to the softer rear springs and the rear grip returned.
