M747 mobo using onboard video (SIS 6326 8M AGP), i just installed a second hand Voodoo2 8M PCI.
It has two plugs, one to the monitor, one from the old video card. It's appeared to be installed properly, but when i run the 3D Setup for Need For Speed Porsche 2000 it only shows up the SIS6326 and no mention of the Voodoo2. Can someone please help and also forward anything they know about overclocking the Voodoo2 if possible. Thanks.

Not sure about the advice I'm about to give but if I'm not mistaken your existing card although cheap has basic 3D hardware acceleration?
The Voodoo 2 card was made at such a time when video cards for the most part only had software 3D so directx would automatically defer hardware 3D to the voodoo 2 and because you may have two cards capable of such it could be deferring to the sis card.
I might be leading you astray here but if you go to directx diagnostic tool you will see display1 and display2 tab, look to see whether both cards have hardware 3D available?
If they do then you could try disabling hardware acceleration on your sis card and reboot and try game again............ this way it may be forced to use the voodoo 2 as the card shouldn't find any other hardware acceleration with the sis disabled in directx.

Worth a try at least and easily changed back if it doesn't work.

This might already be assumed, but do you have a pass-through cable that you've connected from the Voodoo card to your 2d card?

I'm also presuming you've installed the drivers. If you installed the reference drivers, you should get an extra tabbed page in the Display Properties window. And yeah, check out DirectX Diagnostics as well.
