A dying friend said that to my father when he visited him in hospital.
Made me do things that what I want to do now and not get carried away with
too much 'future' stuff because the future may the the Mack truck on the
roundabout.

it may also be nice to have something put aside so if you do get hit by
the mack truck, but survive with horrible injuries, your family won't
be destitute.

Anyway, being rich is better than being poor, if only for financial
reasons. :)
