Looks like he made a solid start to the season, despite not really get
the minutes/shots you'd expect of a number one pick throughout the
pre-season.
Channel 10 have been exaggerating how good his first game was though.
13 points and 9 rebounds is not starring, especially when one of your
teammates scored 30 (including a buzzer-beating 3 pointer to send the
game into overtime) and another teammate was one rebound short of a
triple double.
But anyway, I think he earned some respect in his first game.

"The flavors in this soup create a warm and soothing meal. A generous plate
of sliced avocados is a typical accompaniment. Use an aged European Muenster
for the best results."
INGREDIENTS:
a.. 4 tablespoons margarine
b.. 1 teaspoon paprika
c.. 2 small onion, chopped
d.. 4 cups water
e.. 10 potatoes, diced
f.. 2 cups half-and-half cream
g.. 1/2 pound cod fillets, cubed
h.. 2 eggs, lightly beaten
i.. 1 1/2 cups shredded Muenster cheese
j.. salt to taste
DIRECTIONS:
1.. Melt the butter or margarine in a large saucepan, and add the paprika.
Saute the onions in this mixture until they are soft. Add the water, bring
it to the boil, and add the potatoes. Simmer gently until the potatoes are
almost done. Depending on the size of the potatoes it may be necessary to
add more water during cooking.
2.. Add cream or milk and the fish; continue cooking, stirring
occasionally, until potatoes begin to fall apart. If they remain very firm,
mash them gently in the pan with a masher or wooden spoon.
3.. Add a little of the potato mixture to the beaten eggs, and then stir
eggs into the soup. Remove from heat, and stir in the cheese. Correct the
seasoning, and serve at once.

lol would seem to me that Power Mad knows exactly
what an OT post is and as OT goes his is far superior
to the original and as soups go, you sir are a heathen
that recipe is a classic and a soup of gigantic proportions
you probably eat the soup first in a pie floater!

Oh come on. Funny and informative.
If you wanted a jibe, a recipe's a very friendly way to get one. You
really must relax a *bit*.

No doubt. 13 points, 9 rebounds and 3 blocks is a good solid start, but
hardly "dominating" or "outstanding" like Ch. 10 said. Still, considering
he's still only 20 or so and left the college system with 2 years left, he's
doing pretty well considering his age and inexperience.
BTW, I think early foul trouble had something to do with the minutes...

yeah, he's gonna be fine...i was a bit worried for him when the bucks
traded for magliore, though

i read some bucks forums and a lot of fans were commenting on how the
coach (new guy, i forget his name) wasn't running any plays for
him...odd for a number one pick

Perhaps you can prescribe boumtje some propanolol and diazepam? Or
nominate him for a medicinal THC trial?
On second thoughts...

He has to learn the game and his team's game plan first. Not odd at all.

Poor soul, gotta come to Adelaide to sample this culinary delight
First is a bowl of thick green pea soup, place a good Aussie meat pie in the
centre, smother it with tomato sauce, and tuck in.
I have seen some variations, some like to sprinkle in some Tabasco sauce

the 2004 first pick, dwight howard had 12 points, 10 rebounds and 4
blocks in his first game and he was only 19...2003 top pick lebron
james had something like 25 points and nearly had a triple double...so
i wouldn't call 13 points, 9 boards, 3 blocks awesome for the #1 draft
choice...it's decent
but he had 17 rebounds in his 2nd game...which is pretty impressive and
the bucks have started 2-0

don't know what positions the other guys played in their (outstanding)
debuts, but for mine, Bogut's stats in his first 37 mins of game time
EVER is beyond decent. btw, I used to be a huge basketball fan and
absolute stats junkie. Used to followed the Bulls when they were Zeke
and Joe Dumars' bitches for years before their first three-peat. Was
more of a Scottie Pippen fan than a Mike fan.
