Off season reading has been ummmm.....OT?... and....

Reading the 1st OT post, (if marked OT i have NO prob withthose type
of posts), I read initially, was tempted to respond, from a diverse
small busines employee pov, but lack of time prevailed, and 2 days
drifted by. I see a huge response...and begin to read. Ooops... the
OT has sprung another OT... he's back.

Amidst the expected political stances from the OT posts (as opposed to
the OT OT posts), it seemed to me, an employer of 7 people, thats
SEVEN, huge eh?...:>), associated directly in 9 applicable award
related businesses, commends the Liberal Government for their
direction. I am only interested in what a policy does for me. Don't
we all? I am also flattered, that a government has taken notice of
Swoop's Emporium employment scenario, and try to nationalise what we
have done for 7 years. We show employees the ropes in the different
businesses, which is a win win for both parties, their experiences
give me flexibility, it adds to theirs. They know the size of the
business(es) they are employed with, and agree to terms of employment
as part of the discussions prior to employment. Simple really. No,
not all employees are arseholes. Lost my very 1st employee in this
business only weeks ago, he was with me from 16, and at 23, at my own
instigation, he is 'expanding' his experiences by working somewhere
utilising a certain skill set more suited to a specialised business.

Then came the predictable diversion. Oh Laz, how many times must we
suffer the repetition. The curry muncher comment was what...3, 4, 6
months ago? Remaining still vehemently ignorant that the actual jibe
was always, has always, been about the insecure, the CM jibe was mere
literal floss, (albeit yes...racist...oh dear me), and here you
are... months later, OT in an OT thread, regurgitating your own bile,
still using that horrendous above mentioned slur as your major example
of the racist feral pig attitude of this Ng. Man, your life must be
hell, putting up with that.

And I was only lurking then, yet having my name associated with
racism yet again.

The trigger for his latest outburst? A well known impersonator makes
an inappropriate comment, and Lazy, an inclusion in the one man band
that sets upon the wrong man, assuming he is the perpetrator. Love
it.

Colin, thanks for voicing to Larry your pinion that you did not think
I am a racist. I was not phased re opinion, I assumed it actually. I
was hoping Laz can hear a friend, and let it rest.

Now heres the irony. Hoges writes one of the best 'get ups' I have
read in a while in here ...albeit a tad blasphemous...:>). As regs
here know, I detest the use of c*** as a descriptive. In jest, he
calls me one. (It's ok Hoges...u know..i know...). It seems I am the
only one here who has that pov, yet I choose to continue to read their
posts, resisiting that urge to insult them. Shit, I even find myself
enjoying their posts. Agreeing with them on issues. Of course....
it's a Ng.... OK.

My only Q to Larry would be, will I stamp it out by kill filing or
denigratng any users, or grasping onto an anoerexic straw of an
insult and bleating on and on about it, fix the problem? Will it win
you more support? My readings from the numerous posts in here over
the years, from folks I hold in much higher esteem than Larry, all
have the same theme. His principles are often correct and admirable.
His methods of promoting them pathetic. Shame really.

the racist comment. Simple as that, as I have told you so many timers in the

Colin does not walk in my shoes and never has. He will NEVER be able to
fully comprehend what an offensive racist remark can do to someone. It is
totally beyond his capabilities to empathise with me. After all, he
advocates verbal abuse and sledging on a cricket field, something I
absolutely loath.

I have told you numerous times the simple answer dude. ALL I want is an
unconditional apology for calling me a racist name (which you have FINALLY
admitted to doing at LONG LAST).

Is that too much for your ego to handle? A simple unconditional apology will
do me fine for good. I have said this to you how many frigging times now?

your remark is racist, A racist doesn't
get to measure how innoquous a term

Sledging is fine as long as it's not personal.
Some of the best one liners I've ever heard have been on the cricket field.
Verbal abuse is rare in my experience.
