go to www.topfield-australia.com.au and ask in the forums.

You'll need to demux the .rec file with ProjectX and then re-encode it to
whatever your phone uses (using some other sofware). This will be quite time
consuming so you'll have to weigh up whether it's actually worthwhile.

You will need ProjectX available from this site - this is the latest full
windows style install and is around 13 meg. It has JAVA imbedded in it so
you don't have to do a separate install.

Some screen shots on how to set up ProjectX are available at

Probably the option To PVA or TS would be better suited to your needs than
Demuxing and then having to remux etc...

You will then need a program to convert the mpeg file to whatever is
required for your Nokia probably something like Total Video Converter, this
is not free.

mmmmm, so maybe I'll play the topfield clip on the TV and use the phone
camera to take a movie- the old fashioned analogue way.
I've always said these digital devices waste more time and any other
benefits are questionable.
thanks anyway.

You only need to script it once, and then its easy on subsequent uses.
If computers don't automate the tedious repetitive jobs, you are doing
it wrong! Throw away the moron-friendly point-and-click software, and
get something scriptable, like mplayer.

In my experience, videos recorded by phones look awful. You can get far
better playback by converting videos from elsewhere.

Yeah, mobiles are great for phone calls though :-)
