Does anyone know of a DVB-T PCI card for a PC which has closed captions and
teletext ability. I currently have a Leadtek USB2 DVB-T Dongle which works
well be doesn't have closed captions or Teletext.

Thanks John

I have a V-Stream DVB-T100
http://www.kworld.com.tw/en/product/digital/001/dvb-t100.htm

It supports teletext, but not sure if does closed captions.

Tho, I thought closed captions were a bit like teletext, and if ya TV
had teletext, it could get closed captions. Might wanna check.

Not using it, so can have for $60 posted if ya want it. Has manul,
remote, cd.

Regards,

Moby

The hardware you choose is irrelevant, it's all down to the software. If
you use 3rd party well developed software you can get all the features
you want. Don't judge the product you have on the buggy unstable shit
software the manufacturers bundle with their hardware (and that includes
DVICO software)

My HDTV Dvico has been rock solid - no problems of any kind. Curious to know
what I've missed.
I'm running XP Professional with SP2 and every update issued from Microsoft.
1.5gig Corsair memory etc
The HDTV Dvico software is version is 3.11

I only use it to record overflow material that I can't accommodate on my
Topfield. Demux and edit in ProjectX

Thanks for your answers guys..I thought it would have been software. The
Leadtek software is stable enough it just doesn't have teletext.

Check out http://www.digitalnow.com.au/ for cards & PVR software.
Although I'm not using their software DNTVLive (I'm using Media Center),
it's supposed to be very good & their support is excellent (I've got the
USB Twin).
