Im a Jocks man myself, boxers have always been too loose for my liking (commando is a bitch when wearing jeans) and i used to wear undies but when i was about 13 i decided to stop, so jocks was the best option for me, they leave my boys to hang, but keep them from dangling without being too constrictive (was that an overshare?)

They contain a wet fart so much more effectivly.;)

Unless they are very well designed thing can get loos if you are a little too well hung but thats never been a problem for me.::p

And my wash anything machine doesn't destroy them.
